What is Presidents' Day? Originally a federal holiday named for George Washington's birthday (February 22), the third Monday in February is also in between his and Abraham Lincoln's birthday (February 12), earning the day the popular nickname of Presidents' Day.

As a reminder, city offices will be closed on Monday, February 17th, in observance of Presidents' Day.


Catoosa City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, February 12th from 1:30pm to 4:30pm so that our employees may attend the service of our friend and colleague, Vicky Sutton.
